The Drifters Girl follows the Inspiring story of the world's first African American female music manager, Faye Treadwell played by the incredibly talented Carly Mercedes Dyer.

As soon as the curtain came up, the room came alive. Those Classic songs that everyone knows came belting out one after another. And boy were those voices incredible, along with those fancy suits and fantastic footwork - those gents really had it all.

This show Is a definite must-see

I myself was already a huge fan of the famous band and the many great hits they had, and this show made me love them so much more. Before the show I didn’t realise how much history was involved in the making of the famous band, so this was a great insight for me.

the show featured incredible classics that we all know and love, such as ‘Come On Over To My Place’, ‘Under The boardwalk’, and ‘Hello Happiness’

Carly Mercedes Dyer as Faye Treadwell and Miles Anthony Daley as George Treadwell

Faye Treadwell is the legendary manager of The Drifters who fought for three decades alongside her husband (George Treadwell) played by Miles Anthony Daley to turn Atlantic Records' hottest vocal group into a global phenomenon.

We really loved how the show doesn’t hold back from the darker side of the story telling either, with everything from drugs, divorce and racism explored throughout.

There’s absolutely no doubt that Faye Treadwell was and always will be, The Drifters Girl and Wow….What an incredible woman.

From the highs of hit records and sell-out tours, to the lows of legal battles and personal tragedy. The Drifters Girl charts the trailblazing efforts of the world's very first African American female music manager and how she refused to ever give up on the group she loved so very much.

With a toe-tapping soundtrack and jaw dropping vocals that are guaranteed to have you swaying in your seats, The Drifters Girl will undoubtedly leave you humming to the classics for hours and hours

The show ended on a high with a vibrant and energetic finale. This was just like a mini concert, with the entire audience up on their feet dancing and singing along. It really felt like the real Drifters were in the room with us. If you are a fan of those classic nostalgic tunes then this is a must see.
