ROKIT Takes Off & Brings their Second-hand Mission to Cardiff
ROKIT, the iconic vintage retailer, is excited to announce the launch of its fifth store in Cardiff on September 2nd 2023. Renowned for shaping London’s vintage scene since 1986, this launch marks a significant milestone in the retailer’s legacy.
“I’m very excited to be bringing sustainable and on trend fashion to a great city like Cardiff” says Anthony Shackleton, Managing Director at ROKIT Vintage.
The upcoming Cardiff store, located at Unit 4 11-25 Queen Street, in the heart of the city, aims to transform the local high street into a hub for second-hand & sustainable fashion. The store will offer a curated selection of vintage pieces, rare deadstock items, and second-hand big-name branded clothing for everyone.
Over 35 years ago, Shackleton opened the first ROKIT shop in Camden. The company has since grown to have four stores across London in Covent Garden, Camden, and two stores in Brick Lane. Our website https://www.rokit.co.uk now boasts over 15,000 vintage pieces, promoting sustainability and conscious shopping by catering to all generations and styles.
To celebrate this milestone in ROKIT’s legacy, they have partnered with local Welsh brewers, Tiny Rebel. This launch promises to mark a new era of high street fashion in Cardiff, blending ROKIT’s vintage legacy with a fresh new take.
Setting itself apart from its London counterparts, ROKIT Cardiff will also feature a dedicated kids’ wear section, embracing its heritage as a space for all generations. Much like the space’s former tenant BHS, this move for ROKIT highlights its commitment to tradition, inclusion & affordability.
Join us on September 2nd as we celebrate ROKIT’s step into Cardiff’s high street, in a 400 square meters store in the heart of the city. Discover a curated mix of vintage and second-hand fashion and exclusive discounts, all the while embracing ROKIT’s mission to reduce fashion waste.
